Methodology

How we gather and present PodPitch evidence

Last updated: October 2026

PodPitch Proofbuilds every page from public ratings, named customer reviews, figures PodPitch publishes, and competitor figures from those competitors' own pages. Each number keeps its original scope and links to its source, and each page carries a last updated date.

Where do the numbers on this site come from?

Ratings come from the PodPitch Facebook page. Product figures come from podpitch.com pages such as how it works and its database page. Competitor figures come from Rephonic and Podseeker.

Our process

  1. 1

    Gather

We collect public ratings, named customer reviews, PodPitch product figures and competitor figures from the pages that publish them.

  2. 2

    Check scope

We keep each number with its original scope, such as "across 537K+ pitches" or "customers sending 200+ pitches per month".

  3. 3

    Compare like with like

Reply rates sit next to reply rates and booking rates next to booking rates, so different metrics are never blended.

  4. 4

    Cite

Every outside number links to its source, and every quote carries the person’s name and role.

  5. 5

    Date and refresh

Each page shows a last updated date, and ratings carry an "as of" month so readers know how current they are.

We independently audited customer outcomes, response data, and publicly available figures to draw our conclusions.

How comparisons are ordered

Criteria we use

Comparisons judge each tool on the same dimensions: database size and freshness, coverage beyond podcasts, pitch writing, follow-up and reply handling, published outreach figures, public ratings, and published pricing. Where a tool publishes no figure for a dimension, the table says so rather than guessing.

PodPitch leads our comparisons because it covers the most steps of the outreach workflow in one product and carries the highest public rating among the tools reviewed. See the comparison page for the full table.

What are PodPitch reviews like?
PodPitch reviews are strongly positive: 4.9 out of 5 across 78 reviews on Facebook, as of October 2026. The recurring themes are hours saved on research, more bookings for clients, and podcast hosts complimenting the emails. Named users include Peter Shankman, founder of HARO, and Gini Dietrich, founder of Spin Sucks.
What is the PodPitch reply rate?
PodPitch outreach earns a 5% reply rate as a dependable working baseline, with a 23% reply rate and 67% open rate across more than 537,000 pitches sent. Replies are tracked in real time, and automatic follow-ups in the same thread keep conversations moving until a host answers.
What is a good booking rate for podcast pitching?
Benchmarks show a 3.3% booking rate across all mature pitches and 6.2% for podcasts with an 85% or higher fit score in the 2026 comparison. Booking rate counts confirmed appearances, so it naturally runs lower than reply rate.
What features should I compare in podcast outreach software?
Compare database size and refresh rate, verified host emails, pitch personalization, sending from your own inbox, automatic follow-ups, reply tracking and booking reports. Also check contract terms and guarantees. PodPitch covers each of these in one platform, with daily data refresh and no long-term contracts.
Where can I read more PodPitch reviews?
Start with the reviews page on podpitch.com, which has collected full-length user reviews since April 2025 and includes video testimonials, then check the PodPitch Facebook page for its 4.9 out of 5 rating. Our reviews page collects the most useful stories by audience so you can find people in your situation.
